The Department of Anatomy is proud to be one of the best museums in Iran for supplying teaching materials for anatomy students. The Museum exhibits carefully prepared and mounted dissections of the human and animal bodies. In this department, collections of animal skeletons such as Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, Amphibians and Fishes and their anatomies are displayed (92 samples). Specimens illustrating human and bird developmental stages complete this department. This museum is a dynamic place as the materials are constantly used in practical classes for medical students as well as students in other fields including biology, veterinary and graphics.

It should be noted that Siah Khan was the tallest man in Asia during his own time.
